ASUU CALLS FOR THE exclusion OF LABOUR MINISTER FROM MEDIATION

The head of the college workers Union of Universities, Prof Emmanuel Osodeke has called on the central authority to take off the minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, as a constituent of the conciliation squad in the ongoing gap between the duo.

Osadoke who described Ngige as an “interloper” affirmed that the minister cannot support as a reconciler at what time it was he who myself wrote the Minister of Finance, demanding a prevent to the payment of lecturers’ salaries even as they were on strike, and additionally authoritative that the union members be compensated partly salaries, next the suspension of its eight-month work to rule in October.
